Game Premise for
goodmorrow
game premise
It happened after you let your mind wander. One moment, you were idly minding your own business. The next, you felt something tugging at you from somewhere underneath your skin. It pulled at your insides, at the backs of your eyelids, a clawing sensation that became a gnawing, until the discomfort grew malignant. Maddening. An urge to scratch or bite or do something to be rid of it.
And then it was over, and you were somewhere else. Settled in a pew, wearing soft robes, and listening to the glory of the Old Ones, of whom you are apparently now a new disciple.
Good Morrow is a panfandom jamjar RPG set in a sleepy seventeenth-century village that coincidentally happens to worship a pantheon of cosmic horrors. Player characters are heralded as good omens and regularly subjected to the lingering presence of the omniscient Old Ones, who always seem to blur the line between perception and peculiarity. Will you unpack the secrets of the ancient cult and find a way home? Or will you let madness claim you and trade your mind for the untold secrets of the cosmos?
All knowledge comes at a price. How much are you willing to pay?
